The Phobos for the cylons is an interesting opponent. The reinforcement pack adds the Berzerk.which I find essential in my early game fleets and quite useful as "filler" throughout the game. Rather have offensive munitions in my ship slots. I have tried the debris mines.yes they are useful.but to me they are not essential. That being said, the Debris Mines that it unlocks as a munition is *very* useful throughout the campaigns. Anabasis has a sprinkle of story but it's mostly a challenge mode. If you don't care for skirmish and you want to pick up all the story in bulk, you can skip on the second war ship pack. If you play the core campaign and *then* pick up Broken Alliance, you'll have to play through the core campaign again. TL DR: If you want to just jump in and pick up DLC's as you go, the only "Critical" one is Broken Alliance as it plugs directly into the core campaign. Second war ship pack (Purely content for skirmish, multiplayer, and Anabasis.) Armistice (Final story DLC, follows on from Ghost Fleet Offensive, save files from that campaign can be carried over. Ghost Fleet Offensive (Follows on from Resurrection, save files from that campaign can be carried over) Resurrection (New story arc set a while after S&S, importing save file does not bring fleets, officers or resources, though blueprints and codex carry over which is handy) Sins & Sacrifice (Follows on directly from base game and broken alliance, save files from that campaign can be carried over to here) No loss to overall story by not doing it, but the pack does include Debris Mines which are incredibly useful for Colonials) Replicates the feel of the BSG episode "33". Anabasis (Optional, extremely challenging and either rewards individuals that learn through their failures or those that have taken the time to learn and apply advanced techniques. Broken Alliance (Plugs into base game campaign, if you're getting DLC, grab this immediately to prevent the need to replay the core campaign again with it) Reinforcements (Optional, adds ships, but cheap and neat) Alright, here's your DLC breakdown, in order of release.
